Ola Money to Integrate Payments With Lenskart, Saavn and More
Ola Cabs, a cab aggregator that started in Bangalore in 2010, is now
widespread to lots of cities in India. It also started its mobile wallet and
called it 'Ola Money' with which you can ride cash free and the wallet will be
used to deduct ride payments. Ola has claimed that its mobile wallet is among
the top three in India with over 20 million customers on its platform!
Ola has said that consumers will be able to shop for various products
across leading e-commerce platforms with their Ola Money accounts. Ola has
partnered with Zipcash to offer this service because Zipcash has a semi-closed
wallet license, which is needed for third party payment services.
Earlier this year, it also started its food and grocery delivery system
with Ola Café and Ola Store by acting as a forum between consumers and
restaurants and grocery stores. This Monday, Ola announced that Ola Money will
enable consumers to use their wallet balance to pay for third party marketers

merchants gain access to one of the most convenient payment experiences we know
of today."
